Patrick Peters has been involved in music since joining his elementary school’s choir and band at the age of nine. Upon joining his first musical groups, he quickly discovered his passion and continued formal music education through public school and into post-secondary education where he attended the University of Nebraska Omaha. While at UNO, Patrick performed in a wide variety of ensembles and genres, ranging from small chamber groups playing classical music to jazz big bands and funk groups.
He graduated from UNO in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance with a concentration in Music Technology. Patrick is currently an active studio musician in the Omaha music scene, playing in several musicals at the Omaha Community Playhouse, and performing with various ensembles of local musicians. Patrick teaches brass, music theory and beginning jazz improvisation at the 402.
