Nick Clark is a 2D multimedia artist living and working in Omaha, Nebraska. His work sways between realism and surrealism and he favors graphite and oil paint as mediums. He draws from autobiographical sources, such as his relationship with his special-needs brother whom he took care of for twelve years. His desire to learn and challenge himself results in constant pivoting between mediums and subject matter. This enthusiasm for art and learning is shared through his efforts as an instructor, which he is eager to pursue with each opportunity presented.
Clark has exhibited regularly for ten years, operated his own mural and commission business, taught and mentored high school students, worked for Bemis Center of Contemporary Arts, Joslyn Art Museum, Kent Bellows Studio, League of Human Dignity, and currently drafts designs at CKF. These experiences, in addition to a BFA and Nonfiction minor from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, have solidified his place as an artist, writer, and familiar member of the community.
