Kat Stevens is a vocalist and performer who has been enthralled with the performing arts since she was old enough to make noise and get someone to listen. Although a Nebraska native, Kat has spent the last six years in Southern California, performing, studying, and leading worship. She studied Vocal Performance and Music Education at the Young American College of the Performing Arts in Corona, California. There she joined the world renowned music and outreach group, The Young Americans. In this group, she was given the opportunity to perform and teach arts such as music, voice, acting, and dance to students (ages K-12) in nine countries including Germany, Lithuania, Japan, Hong Kong, and 16 of the United States.

As a young songwriter, Kat performed her original music at numerous historic venues in the Los Angeles area such as the House of Blues and Universal City Walk. During her time in California, Kat lead worship at Crossroads Christian Church and was a Worship Apprentice Leader. She then studied towards a Bachelors Degree in Music Education at California Baptist University, where she was a part of the University Choir and Orchestra under the Direction of Dr. Judd Bonner.

Kat is a firm believer that performance itself is an art.

“Performing is an act of giving to an audience. When done with pure passion and genuine purpose, you can accomplish something incredible!” -Kat Stevens

Kat knew she would always be a Nebraska girl and is so excited to be back. She cannot wait to create with passionate, growing artists.
