Jose Franco has been playing music since he was fifteen years old and is self-taught. He assisted several different churches in Norfolk, Columbus, and Omaha in starting their own worship bands. He has taught bass, drums, piano, acoustic and electric guitar to students who range in skill from beginner to intermediate. Along with his work at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Omaha, Jose also led worship at several different Hispanic churches. Jose has written and recorded his own music.
As lead guitar for the band Savior’s Calling, Jose also recorded bass with artists such as Luke Pruitt, Jared Bayless, and Marcos and Sabor. Currently, Jose is the bass player for Marcos and Sabor, a local band here in Omaha. He is also active in his home church, playing guitar and bass, and travels to Norfolk to play at his dad’s church.
