Gabriel Freeman was born in Omaha, Nebraska where he grew up playing the cello, trumpet, and piano. He studied the cello under Dr. David Low and was constantly playing in the studio, quartets, cello choirs, school orchestras, Omaha Area Youth Orchestras (OAYO), and the UNO Heartland Philharmonic. On trumpet, Gabriel participated in many musical groups which included concert and jazz bands. In his mind, knowledge of music theory directly correlates to the time spent in the piano studio.
Guitar, vocals, songwriting, and recording has been a passion over the past eight years. He can usually be found working on guitar lines or writing new songs to sing. As a worship leader, Gabriel has been leading in all sorts of contexts for over eight years. His educational background includes graduating from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Theology and undergraduate work at Grace University with a double major in Bible & Christian Ministries concentrated in Worship.
