Evelyn Lindgren is a versatile and prolific musician whose performance history ranges from traditional classical repertoire to contemporary avant-garde. In addition to teaching at the 402 Arts Collective, she has been an accompanist for the Omaha Conservatory of Music, the Omaha Academy of Ballet, and the Omaha Jewish Community Center Department of Dance. She has worked with several local theater groups, including arranging and performing keyboard parts for UNO’s Theater Department and the Omaha Community Playhouse, and serving as a pianist and musical director for multiple Brigit St. Brigit productions. She took part in Opera Omaha’s “Proving Up Poetry and Music Project,” where she premiered several works for voice and piano commissioned for Opera Omaha’s inaugural ONE Festival (2018) and performed on Omaha Under the Radar's 2018 festival as the pianist for Kate Soper's song cycle, "Voices From the Killing Jar".
Ms. Lindgren holds a BM in Piano Performance with a minor in French Language and Culture from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has attended the Tyrolean International Piano Academy in Innsbruck, Austria (summer 2015) and participated in the soundSCAPE Performance and Composition Exchange in Maccagno, Italy (summer 2016 and summer 2017). Her primary teachers have been Michelle Lindgren, James Johnson, Anne Madison, and Thomas Rosenkranz.
